Autumn Adventures

Boy, October has flown by since my last post.  Geez...enjoy these pictures from our adventures these past few weeks.

First, we attended K's First Birthday Party!

I was curious as to how Hudson would handle "not" being the center of attention.  He could have cared less - he was only interested in the many balloons around the dining room.

This face, he gets from his Daddy.

Hudson went to his first parade!  It was homecoming at Culver-Stockton in Canton and several of our youth were marching in the parade.  Fun times.

Hudson's BFF, J playing the cymbals.

How Hudson spent most of the parade - tightly hugging my leg.

The Culver-Stockton Wildcat.  Bringing back Kentucky memories.

Getting ready to carve pumpkins.  Hudson was all about it ....

...until it was time to gut the pumpkin.  He stood by stove and cried (while picking his nose) the whole time.  Such a weird kid.

I finally coaxed him over.  Still not interested in touching the pumpkin meat.

 Our finished pumpkin.

I had delusions of grandeur about making Hudson a costume.
Then while on a trip to Hannibal I found this adorable and brand-new costume at Goodwill for only $2.49.
Score.

Halloween night we went to Canton to trunk or treat at the High School.  Hudson was totally not into it.

Fun times have been had and more fun times ahead with Thanksgiving and Christmas, I'm sure!

  1. Braxton wasn't that into trick or treating either. Maybe when he's 3, we'll see!
